Tips for best results

  • These frozen mimosas have a subtle flavor profile, but they’re perfect, in my opinion. However, if you really want a kick of orange, use frozen orange juice cubes made in ice cube trays instead of some or all of the ice. You can even add orange liqueur for more orange flavor as well.
  • If you add more liquid to the mixture without counteracting with more ice, you’re going to end up with a very thin drink. If you want a real slushie feel, the current recipe ratio is perfect.
  • I use orange juice with no pulp because this is my personal preference; however, if you like the pulp, feel free to swap it out.
  • You can use any sparkling wine you prefer, it doesn’t have to be the same brand I used. I love to use a local sparkling wine!

Serving suggestions

Make sure you serve the frozen mimosa immediately in a champagne flute. Garnish with sliced oranges. You could even add other fresh fruit like fresh strawberries and pineapple wedges to dress it up with even more of a tropical feel.
