Pineapple Frozen Margarita Recipe
Pineapple Frozen Margaritas are the perfect cocktail when those summer days get hot-tequila, orange, pineapple, and lime flavors blend perfectly into this frozen cocktail!
Okay, so today’s post was supposed to be a mango vodka concoction but when I went to make it I had grabbed the bag of frozen pineapple at the grocery store instead of frozen mango. These things happen (especially when you have three boys under age 10 “helping” you shop!) So mangos will wait and instead you get a Pineapple Frozen Margarita recipe, an amazing fruity drink that blends the flavor of a traditional margarita with the perfect blend of orange and pineapple!
Pineapple Frozen Margarita Ingredients
- cut pineapple
- orange juice
- lime juice
- tequila
- triple sec
- turbinado sugar or salt for glass rim
- lime & orange wedges for garnish
How to Make a Frozen Pineapple Margarita
Combine pineapple, orange juice, lime juice, tequila and triple sec in a blender (affiliate link) and pulse until uniform. (If your margarita looks too thick thin with an additional 1/4 cup orange juice.) Dip glass rims in a shallow dish of water, then into sugar. Garnish with lime and orange wedges. Serve immediately.
Tips for Making Pineapple Margaritas
You can serve this margarita rimmed with salt or sugar…it’s a personal preference. I drink mine both ways but I think I tend to prefer the sugar. Use a coarse sugar like turbinado or raw sugar if you have it on hand.
*For a mocktail version without alcohol omit tequila and triple sec!*

Just wanting to make sure, because the measurements seem a bit off. It’s half a cup of tequila, but only half an OUNCE of triple sec?…
Thank you so much for catching that Esther, you are totally correct, it should have read 1/2 cup of Triple Sec, I have fixed that now!
Thanks for your fast response, Melissa! One more question, how many servings is this recipe for?
I divide this into four servings when I make it!
This is my new favorite summer dessert. I’m obsessed!
